Purse Thief Captured on Video
Thursday, May 19th, 2011On May 11, Melissa Bell and her son went hiking at Big Bone Lick State Park. While they were gone, someone broke into Bell’s SUV at the park and stole her purse. Later, an unknown woman was captured on video buying cigarettes with Bell’s credit card at a nearby gas station. The station’s camera clearly recorded the woman and the car she was driving, so authorities have some leads in the case. Anyone with information should contact Boone County Sheriff at 859-334-2175.
